
Nebojša Carić currently works as an independent freelance consultant in the fields of management, candidate selection and organisational design. For the previous three years he served as an independent adviser to the Mayor of Kragujevac for the organisation and development of human resources. He is a member of the CCSS team that developed a comprehensive system for the selection, placement and career guidance of candidates. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Centre for Talent.
For twenty-one years he worked as a professional consultant for the Adizes Institute (Santa Barbara, California) in the fields of management, organisational therapy and candidate selection, and was engaged in 22 countries around the world. He provided professional selection services for companies from Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Croatia, Hong Kong, Israel, Malaysia, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and the USA. He delivered lectures and training on advanced selection methods in Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Denmark, Croatia, Canada, China, Mexico, Russia, the USA and Serbia. During more than two decades of collaboration with the Adizes Institute, Nebojša Carić served several times as professional director, programme director, project director and assessor of junior associates.
In his thirty-year professional consulting and advisory career, Nebojša has delivered more than 400 training courses and seminars in the fields of management and human resources for a variety of private and state organisations. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 training manuals in the fields of management and human resources. He has also developed 18 instruments and tests for the analysis of jobs, employees and candidates. In parallel with his consulting and development work, he conducted research related to value systems and the various intelligences in the countries of South-Eastern Europe. At the Adizes Institute he was a member of the teams developing methods of candidate selection, strategic management and reward systems. He is the author and co-author of several original scientific papers in the fields of multi-criteria decision-making, candidate selection, talent identification and the design of organisational systems. In 2006 he was named consultant of the year across the entire global network of the Adizes Institute.
Nebojša Carić has delivered 35 invited lectures at state and private universities, academies, business schools and chambers of commerce in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Russia and Belarus. He has been a guest at professional forums, has appeared on radio and television programmes and has collaborated with professional journals. In addition, he was for many years a member of the editorial board of the professional magazine "Direktor". At the start of his career he worked as a teaching assistant for the subjects of organisation, management and enterprise economics at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. During that period he also led several research and development projects at the Institute for Industrial Systems.
Nebojša Carić has further specialised in the fields of multivariate statistical analysis and multi-criteria decision-making. He owns a library of over 5,000 printed books and more than 10,000 books in electronic format. His hobbies are philosophy, classical guitar and martial arts, which he practises recreationally.
