Consulting and approach
Most common questions
How is SBS different from a classic consulting firm?
We do not pull „ready-made" solutions out of a drawer. Around every problem we form a complementary team (economists, engineers, IT specialists, psychologists, lawyers) that works together with your people, and we combine consulting with training — so the knowledge is transferred and stays in the company. Our methodology embeds the latest scientific advances and our own software, and we also draw on the psychometric instruments of our sister company CCSS.
What does „tailored to the client" mean?
We shape the programme around your company’s specific situation, goals and pace — there is no one-size-fits-all package. Together we choose only the modules you actually need and arrange them into a short- or long-term plan for improving your organisation, management and business. The scope, sequence and depth of the work all depend on your priorities.
What does the first step of working together look like?
The first step is a no-obligation strategic conversation. We listen to your challenge and then, where useful, run a concise diagnosis of the situation so we can propose the right approach before anything begins. Book a strategic conversation and we start from your specific situation.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It depends on the scope and goals. Arrangements range from one-off projects tied to a single part of the business, through half-year and annual programmes, to multi-year series of modules. The realistic timeframe is easiest to estimate together during a strategic conversation, once we understand what is involved.
Modules and pricing
Can I order just one module (e.g. only the diagnosis)?
Yes. Modules can be taken individually — many clients start exactly with the comprehensive company diagnosis and then decide which steps to take next. You can also see the full business improvement programme (9 modules) and pick exactly what you need.
How much does a programme cost?
The price is not fixed because it depends on the scope, the number of modules, the number of positions and people, and the length of the engagement — the programme is assembled „tailored to the client". That is why we always quote after a short assessment. Browse the consulting pages to see the scope of services, then a strategic conversation gives you a concrete estimate.
Trainings
Are the trainings delivered online or in person?
Both. We deliver trainings and workshops in person and online — we choose the format that suits your team, location and pace of work. See the current offering on the Trainings page.
What does a participant receive?
Participants take part in practically focused work and receive a handbook, a workbook and methodological tools, as well as a certificate of attendance. The emphasis is on application — knowledge you can use in your work straight away. More on the Trainings page.
Can I organise a closed training just for my company?
Yes. We also run closed (in-house) trainings tailored to your company alone — we adapt the content, examples and pace to your team and its specific challenges. We agree the date and scope together; just get in touch.
Collaboration and CCSS
What is the relationship between SBS and CCSS?
SBS and CCSS are sister companies. CCSS is the data layer (psychometrics and artificial intelligence for selecting and developing people), while SBS is the judgement and transformation layer (strategy, organisation, performance). We are guided by the principle „CCSS provides the data, and people make the decisions." The bridge between the two companies is Nebojša Carić, the author of the CCSS instruments. Which countries do you work in?
We work primarily in Serbia and the surrounding region, but our consultants have experience from more than 22 countries — from China and Russia in the east to the USA and Brazil in the west. Part of our team is also based in Portugal. Where needed, we work with clients from other parts of the world too, both in person and online.
How can I get in touch with you?
The simplest way is to fill in the contact form — we will get back to you as soon as possible. You will also find our email address, phone number and office address there.
Didn’t find your answer?
Get in touch — we will listen to your challenge and propose the right approach. The conversation is without obligation.
